Who We Are

Happy Days Logo

The admissions policy at Happy Days Day Nursery incorporates the equal opportunities policy. No parent / carer will be discriminated against registration at nursery. Admission will be on a first come / first served basis.

Parent Partnership and Settling in Policy

The nursery staff will work in partnership with all parents / carers to settle the child into the new environment.

Initial nursery visits will be arranged to familiarise your child with both nursery setting and our dedicated staff.

During the first few visits, parents / carers are welcome to stay with your child for sufficient time, so that your child feels settled and you feel comfortable to leave them.

The arrangement can continue until your child feels comfortable within the nursery.

The nursery team will work together and also work with the parents / carers to provide the best quality care for your child.

All parents / carers are welcome to call into the nursery during the working day, to discuss their child / childrens progress. A copy of the nurseries policies and procedures are available at any time.

We have a suggestions book in the reception area for any comments or suggestions you may have.

We aim to be supportive and have a friendly relationship with all parents / carers and children.

Our Nursery Provides

Homemade Meals & Nutritious Snacks

Meal times within the setting are at 9:45, 11:45, 13:45 and 15:45. We are happy to cater for children with cultural or dietary requirements and will work closely with the parents / carers to ensure this is done correctly. At meal times all children are positively encouraged to wash their hands prior to eating and resume good table manners, whilst being independent and making their own choices. For the babies, all staff work in partnership with parents, in regards to feeding preferences as babies tend to be fed on demand and / or may have a bottle of milk. All children’s individual needs are always met throughout mealtimes, with access to water or milk.
